Social distancing, quarantine, testing positive, telecommuting, no school…We are in an unprecedented situation few, if any of us, have ever experienced, navigating an unknown entity, and it can be scary. One of the ways to work through all of this is through creative expression.

“Through creativity and imagination, we find our identity and our reservoir of healing. The more we understand the relationship between creative expression and healing, the more we will discover the healing power of the arts.”   The Connection Between Art, Healing, and Public Health: A Review of Current Literature  Heather L. At NWCEAI, this is what we believe, what we teach, and what we are committed to sharing.  We’d like to know how you need to respond expressively and creatively?

We’d like to invite you to send us your poetry, paintings, and prose; share your dramatic response, a page from your art journal, creative movement, a musical performance, a craft, or whatever is helping you right now. Send us your videos, photos, writing, & recordings and we will post whatever we can on this page and share it via Facebook or Instagram. Let’s get through this together!
