Courage helps us face challenges, overcome fears, and grow. Yet oftentimes, we’re not connected to the “feeling” of being courageous. This workshop is designed to unearth moments of courage in our lives so that we can get in closer touch with this important trait. We’ll play with Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey as inspiration for our exploration, discovering where we are on our journey now, where we’ve been courageous in the past, and what we might need to be brave in the future. Once the collage is complete, we’ll embody part of our creation through a movement practice, and finally, do some reflective writing about what we’re discovering through the experience.
