Therapeutic Movement for Resilience in the Face of Climate Change is a workshop designed to guide participants in understanding how climate change affects our mental health. Through a mix of talks and hands-on activities, participants will learn about those impacts, how our bodies respond to stress, and how movement can be a tool for healing. They will also explore how using the body’s natural wisdom can help build the strength and resilience needed to cope with the challenges ahead.

No movement experience required!

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will learn how climate change can affect mental health.
  2. They will explore how trauma and stress impact the nervous system.
  3. They will discover how therapeutic movement can help during stressful times.
  4. They will identify and practice simple body-based techniques and tools to manage stressors.
