Would you be interested in offering a workshop as a guest faculty member?

Are you new to NWCEAI?

You will need the following to complete the Facilitator Application Form:

    1. CV or Resume
    2. Biography & Headshot to be posted on our website
    3. Copy of License/Credentials

Once the Facilitator Application is submitted, you will receive further instructions requesting documentation to get set up as an Independent Contractor and eligible for payment. You will need to complete,

    1. A W-9 Form
    2. NWCEAI Direct Deposit Authorization Form
    3. Facilitator Contract (review & sign)

If there are multiple facilitators, each new facilitator needs to submit a Facilitator Application form.

Once the above is completed, you will be eligible to facilitate approved trainings/workshops at NWCEAI. Please note that the Facilitator setup process can take 1-2 weeks, this may impact the start date of your proposed training/workshop.

Ready to share your CE training idea?

First you will need to determine what you will be offering. There are two workshop proposal options: Continuing Education Training Proposal (you meet requirements and are approved to offer CEs to mental health professionals), or a Creative Community Workshop Proposal (you are offering a workshop open to our wider community for personal enrichment!)

Please have the following ready to upload before submitting the Continuing Education Training Proposal Form.

In a separate document, include the following,

  • Workshop Title
  • Facilitator(s) Name & Credentials
  • Course description (Approx. 300 words or less)
  • Course Schedule & Agenda.
    • This is a detailed timed agenda which must include scheduled breaks. Note: CEs are only given during time of instruction (example, if you build in a 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minute breaks those cannot count towards the total course instructional time/earned CEs).
  • Course Assessment & Evaluation Measurements
    • Please list one learning outcome for each continuing education unit (hour) that is being offered. This will be used in the required course evaluation. NWCEAI will create a course evaluation form based on these measurements which will be necessary for attendees to complete in order to receive a CE Certificate. Evaluations are sent if offering CEs or not.
  • A list of materials students will need for the training (if applicable).

Be prepared with the following information,

  • Location of workshop/program (online or at the NWCEAI studio space)
  • Proposed Date(s) & Duration for the workshop. Note: You will need to submit your proposal by the deadline to be included in the review for the following year’s offerings.

Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the NWCEAI Continuing Education Coordinator. After this review, the applicant will be notified of any changes that might need to be made, or if the proposal is not within the scope of the mission, values, and vision of NWCEAI.

Please review our Mission, Vision, and Values here, and our DEI Statement before submitting your proposal.
