SoulCollage® Intermediate Level: Readings Group

This group is a closed ongoing 4-week group that meets for 90 minutes each week for one month. It is designed for clinicians to gain more experience and explore their cards for self-exploration, introspection, and personal growth. This group will offer you some guidance in the early stages of using your cards for readings. Having the opportunity to do readings in a small group builds community, inspires consistency, and improves your SoulCollage® skills.

This workshop is specifically meant for Mental Health Therapists, Counselors, Social Workers, Coaches, PTs, OTs, Nurses, Naturopaths, Massage Therapists, and other allied professionals who are interested in the method of SoulCollage® as an additional tool for personal growth and self-care, along with learning this powerful tool for clinical insight, peer supervision, and community-building.

Objectives

Participants will:

1. Engage in readings and practice the skills of Scribe, Reader, and Witness, with an understanding of how this process draws on Gestalt, Transpersonal, and Jungian theories.
2. Bring at least one personal question as a prompt to each meeting that focuses on self-of-the-therapist.
3. Use various skills through the group meetings, such as journaling, meditation, and visualization.
4. Build a SoulCollage® Peer-Group while sharing readings using Expressive Arts based skills.
5. Engage in home practice and report to the group about individual readings and skills gained in the development of the practice.
6. Explore this method with leadership and guidance to improve skill level.
7. Be engaged in the process with consistency for care of the self-of-the-therapist.

Prerequisite: To participate at this level, you will have already taken the beginner level workshop, “Introduction to SoulCollage®” with NWCEAI or another Trained Facilitator, or have other experience with SoulCollage® from various workshops, groups, etc. For this group, you must have some understanding of the suits and have already created at least 4 Committee, 4 Council, and 4 Community cards. Animal Companion cards are optional.
