Sibel A. Golden, PhD, LMHC, REAT
Dr. Sibel Golden is the Executive Director and co-founder of Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute in Seattle. She is a licensed therapist in the State of Washington, as well as a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist in private practice, focusing on women with eating and body image issues. Sibel has been practicing and teaching for 30 years.
Martha McCaughey, PhD
Martha McCaughey is a sociologist with a visiting research appointment at the University of Wyoming and holds a Graduate Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy from Appalachian State University. Martha teaches visual journaling.
Materials participants need to bring: An existing journal book (if you have one) or a discarded/thrifted book; or 2 sheets of paper or recycled paper such as a discarded cereal box or other cardboard pieces; scissors; glue stick; old magazines or other stashes of images for collage; pen.
