Creative Arts Week: Performance & Storytelling

Dates: August 11th – 15th, 2025
Times: Ages 12-14: 9am-12pm | Ages 15-17: 1pm-4pm
Location: NWCEAI Studio: 1631 15th Ave W, Suite 305, Seattle, WA 98119 | Space is limited!

Cost: $375 per person | $50 discount for multiple family members attending | $1400 total for all four weeks! ($100 discount), please email info@seattlearttherapy.org if you are interested in this option!

In this dynamic, hands-on week, you’ll work individually and collaboratively to bring an original performance to life. Using simple, accessible, and upcycled materials, you’ll design and create your own props, sets, and characters—developing a performance that reflects your collective imagination.

What You’ll Do:

 > Experiment with Theater & Storytelling – Learn how to build narratives that inspire and engage audiences.

> Create with Your Hands – Craft puppets, backdrops, and sets using sustainable materials.

> Collaborate & Perform – Work as a team to bring your vision to life and share your work in a final showcase.

> Gain Confidence & Leadership Skills – Walk away with the tools to create your own performances and teach others.

Whether you love acting, visual arts, or just want to try something new, this week is all about exploring creativity in a supportive, fun environment!  And you’ll get a Creative Warriors T-shirt too!

*For our older teens, we weave in a training component that will help them feel empowered to share this work with others. They will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the week.
