Participants will learn how to:
- Use mindfulness practices through guided imagery and mediation activities to address chronic pain
- Assist clients to identify personal values through completion of an expressive arts activity
- Use expressive arts to help clients examine and identify unhelpful thoughts
- Teach clients how to explore the observing self and gain self-awareness through expressive arts modalities.
- Identify how clients can define their Polarities of Pain
- Use drama and writing to help client commitment to action
