Drama Therapy Specialization

Drama therapy invites you to join in — to make art, create music, write poetry, move to the music, tell your story and sing your song.  Drama therapy is called “the great umbrella” for that reason.  Training in drama therapy coursework sharpens the intuitive lens to help you bring what is needed into multiple settings.  NWCEAI follows the requirements of the North American Drama Therapy Association, so our coursework leads to your certification. Through embodied action methods we encourage spontaneity, playfulness, and attunement in our courses and activities.

Core Faculty, Bobbi Kidder will be directing the NWCEAI Pathway to Drama Therapy, as part of our Professional Training Program.  If you are interested in becoming a Registered Drama Therapist, we will be providing essential coursework towards that goal.
