Earning continuing education credits

We offer a variety of synchronous online and in-person continuing education trainings to meet your professional goals. 

Who is eligible to receive CEs?

 

>> School Counselors/K-12 Teachers can earn clock hours as NWCEAI is an (OSPI) Approved by the Washington State Office of Public Instruction as a “Washington State approved clock hour offering workshop.”

>> Continuing Education Trainings offer Continuing Education credits for Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers. 

>> Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (NY). Northwest Creative and Expressive Arts Institute is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed creative arts therapists. #CAT-0123.

If you are outside of Washington State, we advise that you check with your state licensing board to confirm that they accept NBCC Approved CEs. 

How do I earn CE Credits?

 

Browse our Continuing Education Trainings to find one that fits your needs!
To receive a CE Certificate for completion after attending a training, you must complete the following:

  • Officially register and attend the training in its entirety
  • Complete the emailed evaluation form (sent by the following Friday of the training.)
  • After completing & submitting the evaluation form, a CE Certificate will be emailed to you within 5-7 business days.

NWCEAI’s Continuing Education Approvals

 

National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)

Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute (NWCEAI) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7104. Programs that do no qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute (NWCEAI) is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Licensed Creative Arts Therapist | New York State

Northwest Creative and Expressive Arts Institute is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed creative arts therapists.

 

Washington State Clock Hour Provider

Northwest Creative & Expressive Arts Institute is approved by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to offer clock hours to School Counselors and K-12 Educators. To maintain their certification, educators are required by law to complete continuing education credits throughout their career. These credits are offered through “clock hours,” which are units of credit assigned to educators at a professional development or training event.
