Join us for ARTicles, the Creative Clinicians Reading Club Series – you can choose to take only one workshop or join all of them! You do not need to commit to all four. Each workshop will focus on a different aspect of energy restoration, protection, and grounding.

Registration Deadline: The Wednesday prior to scheduled workshop.

Join us for an enriching monthly peer-review hour designed specifically for therapists integrating creative arts therapies into their practice. Each month, we will provide a selected peer-reviewed journal article for participants to read in advance. We’ll begin the session with a brief group review of the article to ensure a shared foundation, followed by a lively, facilitated discussion exploring its clinical relevance, creative implications, and practical applications.

This is more than just a journal club—it’s a space for renewal, reflection, and re-connection. Whether you’re looking to stay current with emerging research, infuse your work with fresh ideas, or engage with a vibrant community of like-minded professionals, this hour offers a meaningful way to deepen your practice.

Come prepared to think critically, share insightfully, and leave creatively inspired.

Learning objectives

Participants will:

1. Read and reflect on a peer-reviewed, evidence-based article from a professional journal.
2. Gain knowledge about how, when or why to add creativity into work.
3. Build community through sharing and discussion with peers.

Requirements

Commit to reading the chosen journal article and make notes prior to workshop. Be prepared to participate in a lively discussion about the article and overall topic.

Earning Continuing Education Credits

To receive a CE Certificate for completion of this workshop, you must officially register, attend the workshop/program in its entirety and complete an evaluation form after the workshop/program. The evaluation form is emailed from NWCEAI. After completing & submitting the evaluation form, a CE Certificate will be emailed to you within 5-7 business days.

Who is eligible to receive CEs?

• Nationally: Approved NBCC Provider for Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers (you are responsible for confirming that your organization/state will accept NBCC credits.)
• New York Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (LCATs)
• Washington State School Counselor/Teacher (OSPI) Approved by the Washington State Office of Public Instruction as a “Washington State approved clock hour offering workshop.”
• If you are outside of Washington State, we advise that you check with your state licensing board to confirm that they accept NBCC Approved CEs.
